Every figure is traced to a direct source, dated to the month we checked it, reviewed by our editor, and reverified each March and April. We take no sponsorships and no paid placements, so comparisons reflect the data rather than who paid.
School fees are taken directly from each school's published fee schedule for the stated academic year, not from aggregators or hearsay. Rent ranges come from current listings on Thai property portals for the specific neighborhood. Cost-of-living figures are built category by category, and each category names its source and the month it was checked.
Every published guide is reviewed and fact-checked by Angelo, our editor, before it stays in the index. We reverify school and rent numbers each March and April, when the next academic year's schedules and property listings refresh. A figure that cannot be traced to a dated source does not go on the page.
